During breast reconstruction specifically, plastic surgeons recreate breasts after mastectomy using tissue expanders or repositioning tissue from other areas of the body. Fat Grafting, Expanders & Implants, Latissimus, TRAM and Nipple/Areola/Skin Sparring are common techniques used to enhance the breast after cancer removal.
